The Development of an Instructional Front cut Semi-Monocoque, Suspension, and Steering systems Mock-up was conducted in Barangay Banaba Cerca, Indang, Cavite. It was tested and evaluated at the Automotive Laboratory of the Department of Industrial Engineering and Technology, College of Engineering and Information Technology, Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite in February 2014. The study was conducted to provide an opportunity for the automotive technology students to gain knowledge about the process, movement, functions, and operations of the unitary strucure of frame, Independent suspensions, and the Manual steering systems. It also provides the students a hands-on experience on troubleshooting the said systems for familiarity. The design project composes a front side half cut automobile with complete suspension and steering parts that can be used for instruction practices. The total cost of the project was Php.56, 375.
