Abstract: GOMEZ, EIROL JOHN S., and ZARAH MAY B. ROLLAN.A Proposed Redevelopment of Amoranto Sports Complex in Quezon City.Undergraduate Design Project.Bachelor of Science in Architecture, Cavite State University Indang, Cavite. April 2014. Adviser: Arch’t. James Art Pimentel. The study aims to apply architectural programming in the design method to establish the site criteria, design criteria, design concept, form concept, design philosophy and to prepare effective plans of the facility. The proposal was intended to respond on the desired role of Quezon City to be the center of health and wellness center in Asia. The main feature of the sports complex was thevelodrome, a track for the cyclists. It was the only sports complex in the Philippines that has it. The researchers found out that Amoranto Sports Complex has the suitable characteristics to be a world class standard sports complex and very feasible for a redevelopment proposal. At the end of the study, the researchers developed a site development plan, necessary floor plans, elevations, sections and perspective drawings for architectural presentation prior to the proposed redevelopment.
