Abstract: JOLEJOLE, MARIVIC D., MAGSAYO, CHENEE ANN MARIE A., BLOOM DECORS. Enterprise Development Project. Bachelor of Science in Business Management, Major in Marketing. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. April 2014. Adviser: Mr. Gener T. Cueno. The entrepreneurial development project which lasted for three months was conducted from November 18, 2014 to February 13, 2014. Generally, the project aimed to determine the viability of the artificial flower decoration business. Specifically, it aimed to enable the authors gained theoretical knowledge in undertaking an entrepreneurial project and identify the problems in managing such business and to provide possible solutions. The business named Bloom Decors was operated by two entrepreneurs who shared the different tasks and responsibilities in managing the flower décor business. Production, marketing, operation and financial aspects were performed by the two business partners. These activities let the students became more responsible in managing such business. In addition, through this project, students’ skills, experiences and capabilities when it comes to strategies and methodologies in marketing and managing a decorative flower business were developed. The business offered artificial flower decorations that comes in a variety of arrangements from simple to elegant ones. Products were offered at lower prices compared to other home improvement stores. The flower arrangements offered were in small vase, plate vase and big vase. Each has different types of design to choose from and were made to suit different homes. Bloom Decors offered the products through personal selling in different areas of Cavite. Likewise, online marketing through social media was used to reach more customers. Product displays in different stores were done by the entrepreneurs to promote and increase the sales. In the four months of operation, Bloom Decors had generated a total sales of P111,690.00 and earned a net profit of P26,868.00. Some problems were encountered such as finding a strategic location, shortage of raw material from its supplier and finding prospective customers but were eventually solved by the entrepreneurs.
