Abstract: ZAMORA, GERLIE MAY MOJICA. Filipino Scribe and Readers Awareness on Cybercrime Law. Undergraduate thesis. Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication, major in Journalism. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. April 2013. Adviser: Ms. kngenelle Anne T. Ambion. This study entitled "Filipino Scribe and Readers Awareness on Cybercrime Law" aimed to find out the impact of Filipino Scribe on the level of awareness of the respondents on Cybercrime Law. Specifically, the study sought to: (1) determine the level of awareness of the respondents on Cybercrime Law before exposure to Filipino Scribe; 42) determine the level of awareness of the respondents after exposure to Filipino Scribe; 13 and determine if there is significant difference between the level of awareness of the respondents on Cybercrime Law before and after exposure to Filipino Scribe. Survey questionnaire was administered to 44 respondents to find out the impact of Filipino Scribe on the level of awareness of the respondents on Cybercrime Law. The ants gathered from October 2012 to March 2013 were tabulated, analyzed, and evaluated. T-test was used to compare the difference between the level of awareness of the respondents before and after exposure to Filipino scribes. Purposive sampling was used in study in the selection of the subjects based on the criteria formulated. The questionnaire has two parts: Part 1 (Respondent's Profile) and Part 2 (Level of Awareness on Cybercrime Law). Findings of the study revealed that the third year Mass Communication students became more aware of the Cybercrime Law because of the impact of the blog site Filipino Scribe. Moreover, it was found that there is significant difference between the keel of awareness of the respondents on Cybercrime Law before and after being exposed vo the blog site- Filipino Scribe.
