Abstract: ALCORIZA, AVI CHEN S. Utilization of www jobstreet.com.ph and its Effectiveness as Perceived by Selected Graduates of Cavite State University. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication major in Journalism. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. April 2015. Adviser: Ms. Lady Aileen G. Ambion. The study was conducted at Cavite State University-Main Campus to determine the significant relationship between the level of utilization of www jobstreet.com.ph and its effectiveness as perceived by selected graduates of Cavite State University-Main Campus. Specifically, it atmed to measure the level of utilization of selected participants in www.jobstreet.com.ph, determine the perception of the selected participants on the effectiveness of www.jobstreet.com.ph in terms interface and content; and find out the relationship between the selected participants’ level of utilization of www.jobstreet.com.ph and their perception of its effectiveness. Aside from books, unpublished manuscripts and printed materials, other data were also gathered through reliable and trusted online websites wherein related portable document format materials, researches, and other information were used. The researcher was also able to get the lists of CvSU graduates batch 2014 from the CvSU Registrar’s Office. Survey questionnaires were administered to 100 participants of the study to determine the significant relationship between the level of utilization of www.jobstreet.com.ph and its effectiveness as perceived by selected graduates of Cavite State University-Main Campus. Statistical method was used to analyze the data gathered. The result of the study reveals that the level of utilization of www,jobstreet.com.ph of selected 2014 graduates of Cavite State University-Main was low. Meanwhile, participants perceived the interface and the content of the said website as effective. Moreover, the result shows that the interface had a significant relationship with the participants’ level of utilization while the content had no significant relationship with the level of utilization of the participants.
