Abstract: ESCARIO, DIANA B. Efficiency and Adequacy of Student Services and Facilities of Cavite State University Main Campus during the Academic Year 2014-2015, Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics with specialization in Statistics. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. April 2015. Adviser: Mr. Marc Jeffrey P. Sioco. This study entitled "Efficiency and Adequacy of Student Services and Facilities of Cavite State University Main Campus during the Academic Year 2014-2015" was conducted at Cavite State University Main Campus from June 2014 to February 2015. Generally, it aimed to evaluate the student services and facilities at Cavite State University Main Campus. Specifically, it aimed to (1) determine the level of efficiency of the student services and facilities, (2) determine the level of adequacy of the student services and facilities, and (3) determine if there is a significant difference between the evaluation results of student services and facilities when compared by year level. Descriptive method was used as a research design in this study. Stratified random sampling was used in grouping the respondents by year level. A total of 388 randomly selected college students served as the respondents, 163 from first year, 97 from second year, 70 from third year, and 58 students from fourth to sixth year. The data needed for this study was gathered by means of survey questionnaires. This was administered randomly to the students of Cavite State University during the academic year 2014-2015. Frequency count and mean were used to determine the efficiency and adequacy of the student services and facilities, and to describe and assess how the respondents evaluate the components in the program considered in the study. Kruskal-Wallis One-way .Analysis of Variance was used to compare the rank of means of the efficiency and adequacy of the student services and facilities by year level. Based on the results, generally, the efficiency and adequacy of the student services and facilities were evaluated as efficient and adequate. Community/extension projects was evaluated as very efficient and very adequate. It was concluded that most of the student services and facilities in the university are efficient and adequate to the respondents, meaning the goals of these services and facilities were met. Moreover, the efficiency and adequacy level of the student services and facilities have no significant difference when compared by year level, so the perception of the respondents by year level were almost the same. Finally, based upon the result of the study, it was recommended that the Office of Student Affairs and Services must review and enhance further their programs for the students to obtain excellent and completely adequate student services and facilities in the university.
