Abstract: CLARISSE IRADUKUNDA. Multiple Regression Analysis of Academic Performance in Plane Trigonometry of Bachelor Science in Appaed Mathematics Students in Cavite State University, A.Y. 2014-2015.Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics.Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. April 2015. Adviser: Ms. Bernadette P. Pena The study was conducted to determine the profile of the BS Applied Mathematics (BSAM) students enrolled in Cavite State University; their study habits, attitudes, and perception on the major subject; and their academic performance in Plane Trigonometry. This also developed a satisfactory model on the academic performance in Plane Trigonometry among BSAM students. Multiple regression analysis was used to highlight the important factors affecting the academic performance in Plane Trigonometry of BSAM students. Based on the information and data collected by the researcher through survey question from students, the analysis was conducted with the use of the Statistical Packages for Social Sciences (SPSS). Based on the output of the study, the researcher have drawn that the strong factors affecting the academic performance in Plane Trigonometry of BSAM students in Cavite State University were the performance in College Algebra and the Entrance examination scores of the students.
