This research is a descriptive-correlational-comparative study involving four major variables which are socio-demographic characteristics, instructional leadership, teaching performance and academic achievement. Twenty-three principals and 185 teachers of public elementary schools in Indang, Cavite were considered participants of this study. The study aimed at describing socio-demographic profile both of the principals and teachers, the principals' level of instructional leadership, the teachers'
level of teaching performance and the pupils' level of academic achievement.
Furthermore, the comparisons of the assessments of both the principals and the teachers in the principals' level of instructional leadership and in the teachers' level of teaching
performance were included as well as the possible relationship among these four above mentioned variables.
Statistical tools employed in this study were descriptive statistics including means, standard deviations, and frequencies; Mann-Whitney Statistical Test; Wilcoxon Signed
Rank Statistical Test; Point-Bise.rial Correlation; Spearman Rank Correlation; and Chi-square Test of Association
Results showed that public elementary school principals of Indang, Cavite were majority belonging to the age bracket of 40-49 years old, female, married, and with under
10 years administrative experience. All of them
