This study was conducted to find out the level of awareness and compliance on KasambahayLaw of selected employers and employees in Dasmarinas City, Cavite. Specifically, it aimed to determine the level of awareness of the participants in KasambahayLaw; determine the participants’ level of compliance towards the law; and determine the relationship between the participants’ level of awareness and compliance to KasambahayLaw. The study used the descriptive method in gathering the data. Survey questionnaires were distributed and answered by the participants. Convenience sampling was used to identify the 10 employers and 10 employees of Westridge Subdivision, Salawag Dasmarinas City, Cavite who participated in this study. This was conducted from November 2013 to February 2014. Descriptive statistical tools and Likert charts were used to analyze the data gathered. Results of the study showed that the employers and employees were aware towards KasambahayLawor in the average level. Participants in general knew the implementation of the KasambahayLawbut were not fully informed about the whole content of it. Also, the result showed that the employers’ has high compliance level to the law. On the other hand, employees fell under moderate compliance. Therefore, it showed that the participants did not completely comply with the law. There was no significant relationship between the participants’ level of awareness and compliance on KasambahayLaw.
