Sisig Express was operated for four months, from 11 November 2014 to 21 February 2015. This Entrepreneurial Development Project was conducted at Cavite State University. The main objective of Sisig Express was to provide affordable value meals for the students, which can satisfy their want for something new. Specifically, Sisig Express aimed to: determine the profitability of a small scale food production; gain knowledge and insights from the operation of a food production project; describe the growth of the business through improved and innovative product offerings; and identify the problems encountered in operating a food business and provide appropriate solutions. Sisig Express offered sisig, sisig burger, flying sisig, sisig pizza, and sisig in a cup. To promote the business, the entrepreneurs used internet marketing, personal selling. and even sales promotion in the form of discounts and raffle promos. The business was in the form of partnership. An initial capital of P 30.000.00 was equally shared by the three entrepreneurs. For the four-month operation, the enterprise generated total sales of P297.508.00.
