Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. April 2015. Adviser: Dr. Elizabeth E. Polinga. The case study was conducted at Dun and Bradstreet Philippines Inc. located at 4th floor Cargohaus Building, Barangay Vitalez, Old MIA Road, NAIA Complex, Parafiaque City. Specifically, this aimed to identify the monetary costs and describe the different six adapted recruitment channels; describe the firm's process for recruitment; analyze the effects of economics of recruitment using SWOT analysis; identify the problems encountered by the firms and recommend feasible solutions to address them. The company adapted six recruitment method which are; online recruitment, job posting, job fair, direct recruitment in participant of walk in applicants, internal hiring and employee referrals. Descriptive method was used to present the process of recruitment of Dun and Bradstreet Philippines Inc., and the firm's six adapted recruitment methods. Comparative Analysis was used to analyze the comparison of the firm's six adapted recruitment method monetary costs and number of hired and not hired applicants. Total expenses for the different recruitment channels were determined. For employee referral, costs for hired applicants is higher than the costs for the not hired applicants, resulting a gained amount of P45,543.62, for the internal recruitment, costs for not hired applicants was offset by the costs for hired applicants, resulting to a zero total expense, and for the Job posting, it gets the highest expense of a company for a recruitment process which amounted to P96,923.08.
