The study was conducted to associate 4S kontra dengue strategy implementation and the prevalence of dengue hemorrhagic fever in selected municipalities and cities of Cavite. Specifically, it aimed to determine the prevalence of dengue hemorrhagic fever in selected municipalities and cities of Cavite and assess the implementation status of 4S Kontra Dengue strategy in selected municipalities and cities of Cavite. The study was conducted from October 2015 to February 2016. The study used descriptive research methods. The respondents of the study were the randomly selected Barangay Health Workers (BHW) from selected municipalities and cities in Cavite namely, Amadeo, Carmona, General Mariano Alvarez, General Trias, Imus City, Indang, Maragondon, Noveleta, Silang, Tanza, Trece Martires City and Ternate. Fifty percent plus one (50%+1) formula was used to get the target municipalities or cities in Cavite to be included in the study. Slovin's formula was also used to obtain the 939 BHW out of 1488 as the respondents in the study. The researchers provided survey questionnaires to the respondents for the assessment of the implementation status of selected municipalities and cities of Cavite. The survey questionnaire was consisted of two parts: First, demographic profile of the barangay health workers and second was 4S Kontra Dengue strategy. The results of the study showed that the overall prevalence of Dengue Hemorrhagic fever in selected municipalities and cities of Cavite was "Prevalent". Furthermore, the study showed that the first 3S of the 4S Kontra Dengue Strategy were frequently practiced in the selected municipalities and cities in Cavite. The last "S" of the strategy showed that thirty six percent (36%) of selected municipalities and cities in Cavite do not conduct fogging operation as of last year 2014. In conclusion, the overall implementation status of the 4S Kontra Dengue Strategy was moderately related to the prevalence of dengue hemorrhagic fever in selected municipalities and cities of Cavite. It is highly recommended for the community, this study will be a great help in spreading the awareness of 4S Kontra Dengue Strategy, for them to know the cause and effect and the significance of the said program for their own welfare. The community should strictly follow every "S" of the 4S Kontra Dengue Strategy. It is also further recommended for the Department of Health Philippines, this study will help the authorities and policy makers to see the improvements as well as the weaknesses of the 4S Kontra Dengue Strategy implemented in different areas in the province of Cavite, which have the highest number of dengue cases year 2015. They should be reiterated the call of all the sectors that dengue nowadays should be one of the public's major concerns.
