Abstract: CACAYURAN, JOIZELLE, MAE D. Distribution Strategies and Quality Management Practices of Windfreight Express Total Logistics, Inc. Undergraduate Case Study. Bachelor of Science in Business Management, major in Operations Management. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. May 2017. Adviser: Ms. Mailah M. Ulep. The study was conducted at Windfreight Express Total Logistics, Inc. located at Unit 0707 Columbia Airfreight Complex, Ninoy Aquino Ave., Paranaque City from January 9, 2017 to March 9, 2017. Generally, this study was conducted to analyze the distribution strategies and quality management practices of Windfreight. Specifically, it aimed to; describe the profile of the company; identify the process flow of goods from point of origin to destination; describe the distribution strategies of the company; describe the quality management practices of the company; analyze the distribution strategies and quality management practices using SWOT analysis; identify the problems encountered on distribution strategies and quality management practices and recommend feasible solutions. Most of the data were collected through primary source. Company’s history, organizational structure and management practices were gathered through actual interview with the managers and employees involved in the operations of the company. Data were also gathered from observation of day to day activities of the company. Secondary data were gathered from books, journals, internet and other documents. Records of the company were also used to secure secondary data. Descriptive method of analysis was used since the aim was to gather information about the distribution strategies and quality management practices of Windfreight 12xpress Iota! Logistics, Inc. Tables and figures were used to supplement the discussions. Windfreight Express Total Logistics, Inc. has been in the industry for 15 years already and operating that long, it has already developed distribution strategies and implement quality management practices that helped the company grow, and build in-house sales that make the company financially stable. The company offers 12 specialty services with forwarding and brokerage as their main business activity. The strengths include the operational planning of distribution strategies and quality management practices that results to company growth, financial stability, and satisfied customers. While areas for improvement include poor communication and coordination of co-workers. The greatest advantage of the company is the willingness of the management and personnel to face change and to grow. This can contribute very well to the continued success of the company.
