The study was conducted from August 2016 to May 2017 at Cavite State University Science High School.
The study generally aimed to determine the exposure and knowledge level of second year to fourth year students of Cavite State University Science High School about natural disasters news reports on television, by determining these: the frequency of their exposure and knowledge level and the relationship between exposure and knowledge level.
Using prepared questionnaires that were constructed with the help of the
researcher's adviser, the data was gathered during the most convenient time of the participants in order to avoid missing information and to come up with a reliable information thereby attaining a valid and precise result. Each participant was
well-informed about the purpose of the research.
The results of study show that the participants are almost highly exposed and highly knowledgeable of news reports on television. However, there is no relationship between exposure and knowledge of the participa
