LUBIGAN, RONNEL D. and NOCEDA, GINALENE F. Development Plan For Cavite State University Coffee Agro-Eco Tourism Park. Undergraduate Design Project. Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. April 2009. Adviser: Engr. Renato B. Cubilla.
The design project was conducted at Cavite State University from June 2008 to March 2009. It was evaluated on March 10, 2009 at the College of Engineering and Information Technology. The study was conducted to enhance the authors' knowledge learned in site development planning and structural design. The proposed development plan for Cavite State University Coffee Agro-Eco Tourism Park was consisted of contour map and topographic map which showed the location of the proposed structures and buildings and road network system. The architectural plans of perimeter fence was also included together with the entrance and exit gates, and the architectural and structural plans of two-storey reinforced concrete multi-purpose building, as well as its estimated cost. The reinforced concrete design of two-storey Multi-Purpose Building was based on the output of Structural Aided Analysis and Design (STAAD05), the standard prescribed in the National Structural Code of the Philippines (NSCP), ACI code and specification for Ultimate Stress Design (USD). The complete design included the architectural and structural plan and detailed cost estimate. The principles and consideration in designing of the two-storey building were safety, aesthetic, and economy. A scaled model was developed to view the outcome of the design project.
