The farm practice was conducted at the poultry project of the Don Severino Agricultural College, Indang, Cavite from December 1, 1987 to January 20, 1988 to de-crease the cost of producing 300 heads of broiler, chicks, to put into practice the management practices involved in broiler production and to have a better insight of the different problems encountered in broiler production. Birds were given chick’s booster mash during the first week and broiler starter during the second week up to the fourth week. Broiler finisher mash (mixture of broiler starter mash and grated coconut) was given in the fifth week up to the last week at the rate of 70 percent mash and 30 percent grated coconut. Broiler consumed 873 kilograms of feeds with an average feed consumption of 3.05 kilograms for seven weeks. After providing the necessary care and proper management, the birds had total final weight of 386.4 kilograms live weight with an average of 1.4 kilograms live-weight. The project netted an income of P1 ,058.000
