The farm practice was conducted at the Department of Agriculture-Southern Tagalog Integrated Agricultural Research Center located at Marawoy, Lipa City, Batangas within three months for 480 hours. The students were assigned in the Regional Soils Laboratory and Tissue Culture Laboratory. During the farm practice, the students were exposed to hands-on activities including Soil Texture Determination; Organic Matter Content Determination; Moisture Determination; pH Determination; Electric Conductivity Determination; Trichoderma Production ; Embryo Culture of Macapuno; and Transplanting of Embryo Cultured Macapuno Plantlets. The farm practice enabled the students to gain technical knowledge on soil analysis and tissue culture. This on-the-job-training has prepared the students for their future employment
