The purpose of this study was to develop an online management information system for Constancio E. This will accompany the organization on their everyday tasks and will give them an ease in organizing and monitoring data and information.
Iterative development model was the scheme used in the development of the software. This methodology contains five (5) phases: requirements gathering, analysis and design, development and implementation, testing and evaluation. It was developed using MySQL for the database, PHP and HTML for scripting language and Apache for the web server. The design of the system was made using software development tools such as activity diagram, use case diagram and class diagram .
The system was evaluated by 37 respondents and passed to a series of testing which completes its functional requirements and objectives.
The system contains the following modules which underwent a series of testing: user management module, student information management module, equipment management module, grade consolidation module and report generation module. In the evaluation the system got the overall mean of 4.5805 and standard deviation of 0.5485, which proves that the system is an effective tool to properly handle information and grades of the increasing number of students, effectively monitor the equipment in the school and accurately generate reports.
