BAUTISTA, JAYVEE A. and PONIENTE, GLAYZA L. Online Information System for General Emilio Aguinaldo Animal Bite Treatment Center. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. April 2016. Adviser: Ms. Gladys G. Perey.
The study was conducted to develop an online information system for General Emilio Aguinaldo Animal Bite Treatment Center. It was designed for the benefit of the doctors, nurses and patients. The system consists of different functions such as adding, editing, and viewing of records, reservation of schedule, searching and generation of reports. It was created for more efficient record management.
The developers used the Prototyping Model as a paradigm for the development of the software. The system was developed using Atom.io as the designing tool, supported by PHP as the programming language, My Structured Query Language (MySQL) as the database and Apache HTTP Server.
The results of the evaluation determined the quality of the software. The study was found to be an effective tool to lessen the redundancy of the records, manual labor in
data storage, and provides an easy access to needed records, that is more reliable,
organized and faster to manipulate.
