Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Psychology: Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. May 2018. Thesis Adviser: Ms Alyssa Kae S. Alegre, RPm. The main objective of this study is to describe how the drug dependents make sense of their experiences inside the rehabilitation center. This is one of the most pressing issues facing, by different countries. Specifically, this study was conducted to: describe how drug dependents give meaning to themselves as they deal under therapeutic community program, describe how drug dependents perceive the importance of life, and understand how drug dependents perceive their relationship with their family. Purposive sampling technique was used to determine the eight (8) participants, male and female aged between twenty (20) to sixty (60) years old. This study was conducted from January to March 2018. The instrument used was a self made interview guide questions. It was validated and underwent reliability test. It was used to describe how drug dependents make sense of their experiences inside the rehabilitation center. The participants' perception portrayed positive perception, invaluable and positive relationship. This study revealed that the drug dependents are looking forward for their fast recovery so that they can be with their family and start a new life. They are trying their absolute best to give back anything and everything that was lost after they made the said unintentional mistakes.
