This study was conducted to determine the ideal size of gladiola bulb for flower production and the ideal size of bulb for propagation. The result of the study showed that bulb size had no great effect on the development and flowering of gladiola. Among the treatments considered, Treat-ment III (28-37 grams bulb) produced the tallest plant with the highest percentage of flower. Based on the result of the study it was con-cluded that the size of gladiola bulb had no signi-ficant effect on the growth and flowering of gladiola. However, the largest bulb is recommended for flower production of gladiola.
