Abstract: CABEROY, PRINCELLAINE C., MILLO, LODELIO R., and ZAYDA C. MOJICA. Enhanced Computerized Payroll System of Cavite State University. Undergraduate Special Problem. Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. April 2003. Adviser: Mrs. Charlotte B. Carandang. The study aimed to develop an enhanced computerized payroll system, to add more features on the existing system such as indexing or history report of individual employees and to minimize the work of an accountant. Several interviews were conducted to gather information for software development. The proponents also conducted research to other universities and colleges and surfed the Internet to develop the software. Questionnaires were distributed to the respondents to know the quality of the software. The Clerk Ill provided the information regarding the processes and report generation that were gathered and analyzed. The proponents used Visual Basic 6.0 to develop the software. Crystal Report was also used to generate reports and pay slips. The software automatically computed the employee's salary. The software aimed to speed up the processing procedures by creating a database that is a client — server and only can be accessed by an authorized person doing the transaction. The software ran in a client — server environment and provided a convenient way to interconnect programs distributed efficiently across the different location.
