The study, titled "Development of A&W Tours En Transport Corp. Information System",
was developed to provide a system to use by A&W Tours En Transport Corp. Specifically, it
aimed to: (1) identify the problems, issues or concerns of the client; (2) design the system with
the following functionalities: (a) provide updated and complete information necessary for rental
of a vehicle; (b) allow the customer to reserve a vehicle online; (c) provide reports such as
reservations, driver's schedules, and other transactions; and (d) send short messaging system
or SMS to the driver's assigned client; (3) develop the system as designed using PHP, HTML,
CSS and MYSQL; (4) test the system's functionality, and reliability; and conduct user's
acceptance testing based on the ISO 9126. The system was developed using PHP, following the
system development of the life cycle methodology, and was tested for its functionality. Forty-five
respondents participated in the software evaluation conducted by the researchers. Where the
system got a general mean average of 4.37 with a descriptive equivalent of "Excellent ". This
means that the system surpasses most predictions by a wide margin.
