The study in the system of marketing coffee in Indang 1972 ABSTRACE The study on the system of marketing coffee in Indang and Mendez, Cavite, was made to determine the channels and the common problems met by the farmers in the locality. A total of 150 farms were surveyed. These farms had an aggregate area of 181 hectares, an average of 1.2 hectares per farm. It had a total of 288,140 bearing trees with an average of 1,316 plants to a hectare. The Robusta and Excelsa were the important commercial varieties grown in the area surveyed. A total of 18,234 petroleum cans of dried coffee berries were harvested and marketed during the year this survey was conducted. this number, 16,668 cans were Robusta, and 2,566 cans were of the Excelsa variety. Among the nine places surveyed (8 barrios and one población) Anuling, a barrio of Mendes, with a total produce of 3,207 earns of the two varieties combined, had the highest production.
