Abstract: Juvenile Justice Welfare System in the Philippines is a hot topic after having discussions to lower down the minimum age of criminal responsibility in the Congress. This topic has been a discussion not only on national and international media but also in community level, which would be the focus of this study. This research aims to determine the level of knowledge and the implementation level of the current RA 9344 also known as Juvenile Justice Welfare Act of 2006 on community level, particularly the residents of Bailen, Cavite. Specifically, this investigates the involvement of the selected respondents and how well do they know the basic details and provisions indicated in the act, and whether the programs implemented by the government organizations were felt by them. In order to get the relevant data, the researchers utilized the descriptive research design using the stratified survey method by means of a quantitative approach that uses survey questionnaire to gather and collect data from the respondents. The researchers adapted a hybrid approach whereas a physical and online survey was distributed to potential respondents. Responses were analyzed and the results showed that generally they have the basic and average knowledge about the provisions of the law and has a neutral stance on the implementing programs conducted by government organizations in different level enacting the act. On this basis, it also implies that there is still an opportunity to increase the knowledge and implementation level to a more positive light. This calls for combined efforts of involved government and non-government organizations that support the cause in creating campaigns in information dissemination, proper communication of related programs, and securing ample resources.
