Abstract: DEJONGOY, HELEN GRACE C., GAMAS, ALLIAH NICOLE B., GAMBA, ADRIAN R., INCOGNITO, HANNAH LOIS B., and LLANETA, JESSIE J. TBH: Twitter interactions of generation z among senior high school students using acronyms. Undergraduate Thesis, Bachelor of Arts in English Language Studies, Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. June 2022. Adviser: Rosa R. Hernandez, MA. One of the most fascinating occurrences in the last two decades has been the emergence of social media. In recent years, social networking sites were introduced all over the world. Social media was quick to adopt the "less-is-more" concept in which the major reason why we started abbreviating words and phrases on social media was to save time, effort, and space. (Promo Republic, 2021) This research study sought to seek information about the influence of social media regarding acronyms to Generation Z specifically Senior High students and how it affects each of them in communicating with everyone from different ages. It dives deep into the definition of acronyms and people's new way of embracing the modern world. The data were obtained from different source materials such as books and website articles. Other data needed were conducted through online questionnaire/survey in which senior high school students ages 16-21 took their time to answer.
