Abstract: ARAGON, RICHCEL E., CORPIN, SHAYNE ANNE L., MORETO, KAYBELLE M., PAJEMOS, MARSAN ANGEL R., and ROBREDILLO, MARYJOY S. Language and Technology: Perceptions of selected college students on utilizing Grammarly software in improving English language capability. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Arts of English Language Studies. Cavite State University- Main Campus, Indang, Cavite. June 2022. Chona Ramos. This study investigated the selected BAELS students who are using the free version of Grammarly's grammar checker. The primary goal of this study is to ascertain selected BAELS students' perceptions of using Grammarly software to improve their English language capability in terms of spelling and vocabulary. This study uses a quantitative research methodology for its objectives; to determine the time students, spend on using Grammarly's grammar checker and its effectiveness, to ascertain the student's perception of the effects of using Grammarly's grammar checker on their English language skills in terms of spelling and vocabulary, and to determine the level of agreement of the respondents towards the effect of Grammarly's grammar checker on the English language capabilities in terms of spelling and vocabulary. Fourth-year students are more likely to use Grammarly's grammar checker to help with their academics and activities since some of the subjects they take are most likely writing, research, articles, and analysis, which is why the majority of them respond to the survey questionnaire provided by the researchers. The least significant findings are where third-year students respond to the survey questionnaire. Since the population of the third-year students is small and their subjects are most likely translated, such as Asian and European languages, fourth-year students are more likely to respond to the survey questionnaire that the researchers provide. Spending on Grammarly will help students improve their writing skills because Grammarly assists and corrects them, which is why the most significant findings, wherein 44 percent of the respondents answered less than one to two (1-2) hours, and the least significant findings, wherein six of the respondents answered depends on the activity/task, because the student will be using Grammarly's grammar checker if they have to use it for their academics. Students generally agreed that Grammarly's grammar checker is useful and simple to use and that it increased their writing confidence and understanding of their grammar. The researchers discovered that using Grammarly's grammar checker was effective in improving students' spelling. They are more confident and motivated, and their writing creativity has increased. It will be easier for students to use and correct all of their spelling and grammatical errors. The researchers discovered that using Grammarly's grammar checker helps students who are unsure of their English vocabulary. Because they lack confidence in writing essays and articles, it helps them improve their vocabulary. Keywords: Grammarly, Capabilities, Utilizing .
