Salinas The study was conducted to determine the frequency of church attendance and the types of words used in oral communication by the selected teenagers in IEMELIF church in Naic, Cavite. Specifically, it aimed to determine the teenagers frequency of attendance to the different church activities such as Worship service, Mid-week service/Prayer Meeting, Sunday School, Youth hour/ youth Fellowship and other church activities; and to determine the type of words used by the respondents in their oral communication. The study was conducted from October to February 2011 at IEMELIF church inNaic, Cavite. A descriptive correlational approach was used in the study. Incidental sampling was used in choosing the 30 respondents. The study used survey and observation sheet in gathering the data needed which were later tallied, tabulated, organized and analyzed. Frequency counts, percentage and chi-square test were used as statistical tools. The results of the study showed that the majority of the respondents (46.7 percent) are not attending church regularly. On the other hand, though only a few of the respondents used formal words, yet still most of them did not use vulgar words either. The computed chi-square of the level 7.600 and a significance of 0.55 revealed that there is no significant relationship between the frequency of church attendance and the words used by the respondents in their oral communication.
