Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. May 2018. Adviser: Prof. Lydia D. Perido.
The Enhancement of Equipment of Inventory of College of Engineering and Information Technology Using Quick Response (QR) Code was developed for Property Custodian and CCL located at the College of Engineering and Information Technology at Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. This study covers the inventory management, monitoring or tracking materials and equipment available, purchase request of equipment, and borrowing and returning process of the equipment. It was developed to address the current problems encountered by the existing system of the organization. Such as inventory process is time-consuming due to manual process, users are not updated in the system changes, and purchase request is not recorded. On the given problems the study was aimed to enhance the existing equipment inventory by improving the graphical user interface and the borrowing and returning process of the existing system using the quick response code (QR Code), by providing a notification feature for the user and instant access on the website, and by adding a purchase request for requesting materials and equipment. The system consists of four users namely: the administrators, the dean, the CCL laboratory assistants, and the faculty members. The system is available only to College of Engineering and Information Technology personnel. The researchers used the Structured Evolutionary Prototyping Methodology as a paradigm in the development of the system. Structured Evolutionary Prototyping.
