The study investigated the implication of work-life conflict on teaching effectiveness of Cavite State University faculty members. It was conducted to determine demographic profiles of Cavite State University faculty members, degree of work-life conflict, and level of teaching effectiveness, significant differences and significant relationship between work-life conflict and teaching effectiveness of Cavite State University faculty members.
The descriptive correlation analysis method was used in this study. A total of 280 faculty members and students were the participants of the study. The data were analyzed using frequency count, mean, standard deviation and percentage while Mann Whitney test, Kruskal Wallis test were used to determine the differences and Spearmen Rank was employed to determine the relationship.
The result revealed that the majority of the participants were female, single and belonged in the age bracket of 29 years and below. The degree of work-life conflict of faculty members was low and they were highly effective in teaching. The study also revealed that there is no significant relationship between work-life conflict and teaching effectiveness.
