A total of 195 policemen who are five years or more in the police force were surveyed. Percentage, range and mean were used in presenting the socio-economic characteristics of policemen. Frequency counts and percentage were used to determine the different savings and investment practices of policemen. Chi-Square Test was used to determine the relationship of savings and investment practices to the socio-economic characteristics of policemen. The ages of the participants ranged from 26 to 54 years old. Most of them were male and married. They usually had two dependents and belong to families of three members living with them. More than two-thirds of them have served the police police force, educational attainment, monthly gross income, and other sources of income were found not significantly related to savings of policemen. In addition, there is no significant relation existing between the age, civil status, number of dependents, number of family members living with the participant, educational attainment, and monthly gross income of policemen to their investment; and the sex, years in service in police force, and other sources of income had significant relation to investment of the participants.
