The study aimed to determine (1) the demographic profile of the Academic Personnel in terms of age, gender, civil status, employment status and years in the current institution; (2) determine the level of affective commitment of Academic Personnel; (3) the level of job involvement of Academic Personnel; (4) the level of job autonomy; (5) the level of job performance; (6) the degree of role clarity; (7) the level of role conflict; (8) the difference in the level of affective commitment of the academic personnel of Cavite State university when grouped in terms of age, civil status, employment status and years in the current institution; (9) the impact of work related factors to affective commitment in terms of job involvement, job autonomy, job performance, role clarity and role conflict; and (10) the best predictor of affective commitment. Findings showed that the academic personnel of CvSU were moderately committed. The work related factors have an impact to affective commitment with the exception of role conflict. The best predictor of affective commitment were job involvement, job autonomy and job performance.
