Online resources: Abstract: This study,"Effect of Burned Sevage Sediments on the Growth and Yield of America:n Roses", was conducted to determine the effects of different amounts of burned savage sediments mixed with garden soil on the growth and yield of American roses <grown in earthen pots, These plants were subjected to the following treatments; plants planted in pure garden soil (TL); treated with 1/3 burned sewage mixed with 2/3 garden soil (T,); 1/2 burned sewage mixed with 1/2 garden soil (73); and 2/35 burned sewage mixed with 1/3 garden soil (T,,). .The tallest plants were obtained from those planted in pure garden soil (T,). These plants however, produced the smallest number of lateral branches, Addition of burned sewage (T,) decreased the height of plants but increased the number of lateral branches, and produced higher numbers but smaller flowers. . The shortest plants but with the highest number of lateral branches were exhibited in T), (2/3 burned sewage and 1/3 garden soil). The same treatment produced the highest number but lightest flowers.
