Abstract: AMOROSO, IMEE ROSE R. AND CABALLERO, JACKIELYN S., Motivation in Sports Performance of CSPEAR Varsity Players with Academic Scholar Status. Undergraduate Thesis, Bachelor in Sports and Recreational Management, Cavite State University, indang, Cavite. June 2019. Adviser Mr. Arnie! M. Cortez. This study was to determine the Motivation level in Sports Performance of CSPEAR Varsity Players with Academic Scholar Status. Descriptive research design was used in this study. Total of eleven varsity players with academic scholar who enrolled in 2" semester of AY 2018-2019 served as respondents of the study. A survey instrument was used to gather data from participants to identified their sport performance as affected by demographic profile. The CSPEAR varsity players with academic scholar status the results show that highly motivated to participate in sport performance as it makes them show their responsibility, sharpened their skills and learned to live principles. It reveals a mean value of 4.11 which was "High Motivation?). Meanwhile, there was no significant difference on the sport performance of the varsity players when grouped according to their demographic profile.
