Abstract: RIMAN, ROSALIE M. Performance of Sweet pepper (Capsicum annuum var. Kalahari) Applied with MykoVAM under Lowland Cavite. Special Problem Report Indang, Cavite. April 2008. Adviser: Prof. Renato T. Marquez. The effect of vesicular arbuscular mycorrhiza fungi (MykoVAM) on the growth and yield performance of sweet pepper (Capsicum annuum L. var. Kalahari) was evaluated at one farm of Molino Naic, Cavite from July to November 2007. Fifty plants per plot were used in the study. Application of MykoVAM was done during transplanting. Growth of sweet pepper was greatly enhanced as a result of MykoVAM inoculation. This is shown by taller and healthier plants in the inoculated plots. Likewise, flowering and subsequent fruiting was earlier in MykoVAM inoculated plants. More and heavier fruits were also obtained from inoculated plants compared to uninoculated plants.
