The study aimed to develop a computer-based Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and Automated Payroll System to improve the existing operation of Human Resource Management Unit, Accounting Department, and Treasurers Office in Imus, Municipality. This study also anticipated to know the effectiveness of the HRIS and Automated Payroll systems in terms of accuracy, usability, reliability, and portability
for Imus Municipality.
The study used the spiral model as a Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) during the development process of the system. Descriptive method was used Complete Enumeration was used in this study to get sample population. This study was conducted in Imus Municipality.
After careful evaluation, result showed that the proposed system is effective with a total mean score of 4.21.
