Fishbutido was an enterprise development project operated for 88 days from February 19 to May 19 2018 at Imus, Cavite. The enterprise aimed to apply the gained knowledge and skills in Business Management through actual business undertaking. Specially it aimed to determine the profitability of selling embutido a processed food product; describe the strategies in marketing embutido; and identify the problems encountered in the business and suggest feasible solutions to the problems identified. The business was in the form of partnership. The initial capital investment of the business was P 30,000 equally contributed by each member of the group. Fishbutido offered two different flavors which is plain and spicy.
Different strategies in production and marketing were determined and applied during the conduct of the business such as advertising through social media specifically Facebook and distributing flyers. For the 88 days operation, the enterprise generated, total sales of 1)77,230.00. After deducting the operating expense, a net income of P23, 191.91 was generated.
