Abstract: FERAER, ISAIAH JOSHUA R. and PRIMERO, KELVIN J. Eggplant Enterprise Production Using Lactic Acid Bacteria Serum (LABS) and Complete Fertilizer. Entrepreneurial Development Project Report. Bachelor in Agricultural Entrepreneurship Major in Crop Production. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. June 2019. Adviser: Dr. Adolfo Manuel. The project was conducted at the Crop Production Area under the management of Office of Business Affairs (OBA), Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. The project provided an opportunity to students to gain more knowledge, experience and skills in eggplant production. Furthermore the project enabled them to achieve a return on investment (ROI) of not less than 20 percent in the eggplant production enterprise. A 307.5 m* the production area was used for the production of eggplant. The area consisted of 10 plots. The spacing of eggplants for each plot was 50 cm x 65 cm between hills. Each plot was planted with 60 eggplants; hence, a total of 600 eggplants for the whole area. The production activities performed by the entrepreneurs during the pre- production period included the procurement of seedlings and materials, land preparation, plot layout, transplanting, hilling-up, mulching, watering, pruning, weeding, application of Lactic Acid Bacteria Serum ( LABS), application of complete fertilizer, application of wood vinegar, sorting and grading, packaging, harvesting and marketing. Harvesting was done starting 60 days up to 90 days after transplanting. Harvested eggplant fruits were sold for P 60 per kilogram in Amadeo, Indang and Trece Martires City, Cavite . The retailed price for one-half kilogram was P 35. The production cost for the entire five months period of eggplant production amounted to P 15,908.2. The gross income was P 19,170 and the Return on Investment (ROT) was 20.50 percent.
