Body Image, Self Esteem and Interpersonal Relationship of Third Year BS Tourism Management Female Students of De La Salle University — Dasmarifias. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. April 2017. Adviser: Mary Jane A. Amparo. This study was done to examine relationships between Body Image, Self-esteem, and Interpersonal Relationship of BS Tourism Management Female Students of De La Salle University — Dasrnarinas. Generally, this aimed to determine: 1. the demographic profile of BS Tourism Management Female Students in terms of age, weight and height.; 2.Their body image satisfaction; 3.The level of their Self-esteem; 4. the level of interpersonal relationship in terms of family, peers and romantic relationship; 5. If there is a significant relationship between Body Image and Self-esteem; Self-esteem and Interpersonal Relationship; and Interpersonal Relationship and Body Image. This study utilized purposive sampling technique. Participants included one hundred two (1 02) ES Tourism Management Female, Students in De La Salle University Dasmarinas. Each participant completed a series of questionnaire including the Body Image Questionnaire, Self-esteem Questionnaire, and Interpersonal Relationship Questionnaire. In addition, participants reported their age, weight and height. Results found out that Body Image does not significantly affecting Self-esteem and Interpersonal Relationship. Further results found out that BS Tourism Management Female Students falls have high level of satisfaction with their Body Image which can range of 3.40 — 4.90. The results also showed that they have high level of Self-Esteem. It is also revealed that they have a high Interpersonal Relationship. Specifically, participants are more attached to their romantic relationship than their family and peers.
