Abstract: ARNULFO SARMIENTO RODIL, Don Severino Agricultural Cbliege, Indang, Cavite, "Chopped Chayote As Feed Supplement to Fattening Hogs", Prof. Jacinto M. Constante (Adviser). The project was aimed to determine the production efficiency of raising hogs when a portion of its commercial feeds will be substituted by chopped chayote. At the end of the study, the hogs attained a total body weight of 83.5 and 79.5 kilograms after the fifth month feeding period. The average gain in weight was72.5 kilograms while the average daily gain in weight was .49 kilogram. The hogs consumed a total of 525 kilograms with an average feed efficiency of 3.64. The two fattened hogs were marketed on live weight basis of P 32,00 per kilograms, The total expenses of the project amounted to P4,732.00, while the gross income was P5,238.00, Hence a net income of i?506.00 was realized
