Work Readiness of Graduating Business Management Students in Cavite State University Don Severino de las Alas Campus, Indang, Cavite .Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Business Management major in Human Resource Development Management, Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. October 2014. Adviser: Dr. Florindo C. Ilagan. This study was conducted to determine the work readiness of graduating Business Management Students in Cavite State University Don Severino de las Alas Campus, Indang, Cavite. Specifically, it sought to determine the (1) socio-demographic profile of the graduating business management students in Cavite State University Don Severino de las Alas Campus including age, sex, work experience and the grade point average (CPA) (2) the level of students' work readiness in terms of communications (3) the level of students' work readiness in terms of interpersonal relations (4) the level of students' work readiness in terms of office etiquette (5) the level of students' work readiness in terms of the effective use of physical resources and technology and (6) the significant difference in the students' level of work readiness when grouped according to their socio-demo graphi c profile. The researchers employed descriptive, evaluative and comparative research method to meet the objectives of the study. Primary data were gathered from the graduating business management students of Cavite State University Don Severino de las Alas Campus. Structured survey questionnaire and personal interview were used to gather the data. Likewise, mean value, frequency count and Kruskal-Wallis were utilized as statistical tools to analyze and interpret the collected data. The age bracket of the participants ranged from 18 to 40 years old and more than half belonged to the age bracket of 20 years old and below. Majority of them were female and have no work experience. Moreover, almost half of the students fall into the grade bracket 1.76 to 2.00.There was no significant difference in the students' level of work readiness in terms of communications, office etiquette and effective use of physical resources and technology when grouped according to their socio-demographic profile specifically age, sex, work experiences and grade point average (GPA). On the other hand, data yielded a significant difference in the students' level of work readiness in terms of interpersonal relations when grouped according to their grade point average. Furthermore, no significant difference was obtained in the students' level of work readiness in terms of interpersonal relations when grouped according to age, sex and work experiences
