The entrepreneurial project in broiler production, with 100 day-old chicks, was conducted at Lolo Rody Poultry Farm at Tambo Balagbag, Indang, Cavite from December 01, 2014 to January 07, 2015. This was conducted to enhance the knowledge and skills in broiler production through actual operation and management of a broiler period enterprise; determine the profitability of broiler raising, and to gain profit from the sales of broilers.
After 35 days of feeding, the birds recorded an average weight of 1.7 kg, posted an average feed consumption of 2.95 kg; a total weight of 164.5 kg with a feed conversion efficiency of 1.79. The total product cost of the project amounted to P 13,690.35. The gross sales was P 14,721.00 a net income of P 1,031.00 was realized resulting to a return of investment of (ROT) 7.53%.
