This study aimed to assess the implementation of crime prevention and crime solution strategies in Dasmarinas City, Cavite, problems encountered in the implementation of these strategies, determine the significant difference between the implementation of the strategies as perceived by the police officers and the community, and determine if there is significant relationship between the problems encountered and the implementation of the strategies. Descriptive method was used in the study wherein a total of 30 police officers and 50 community members of Bgy.Salawag of Dasmarinas City, Cavite were selected.
It was found that the implementation of the crime prevention strategies were highly implemented and police officers' conduct the investigation, arrest serving warrant of arrest/ search warrant and filing of a case as what stated in their standard operating procedure and the problems that was encountered by the police officers when they implent their strategies slightly affect their implementation.
Meanwhile, there is no significant difference between the implementation of the strategies as perceived by the police officers and the community and there is no significant relationship between the problems that were encountered and the implementation of the strategies.
