The research study aimed at determining the demographic profile of the respondents and their awareness on the custody of drugs as evidence in selected police stations in Imus Cavite. Using questionnaires are used as means of gathering data and as a main tool in determining their awareness. This is a descriptive research study on the demographic profile and the level of awareness in handling of drugs as evidence. The study made use of qualitative research design and the sampling technique. Purposive sampling was used whereby respondents are selected according to their knowledge. Findings showed that there is a significant relationship between the demographic profiles on the educational attainment to level of awareness to custody of drugs as evidence. This implies the respondents are aware of and knowledge in handling drugs The researchers based on the results, conclude that the respondents have a high level of awareness on collection, preservation and documentation and average level of awareness in handling drugs as evidence.
