Abstract: This farm practice hog fattening project was conducted in Buna Lejos, Indang, Cavite from November 1985 to February 1986 to adapt and apply the technology of feeding growing hogs with 15% fresh grated coconut meat. No loan was obtained from the DSAC-AEOP since the farmer cooperator project himself. Following the standard approved management practices in raising growing-fattening hogs, the results obtained from this farm practice confirmed the previous research finding of utilizing fresh grated coconut meat in hog ration without any adverse effect on the relative hog performance characteristics. The supplementation of fresh grated coconut meat in hog ration reduced feed cost to a considerable extent.
