Amparo The study was conducted in Dasmarinas City, Cavite from July 2015 to December 2015 to evaluate the respondents attitude towards aging, interpersonal relationship and life satisfaction of selected senior citizens. Specifically, this study aimed to: 1) find out the attitude towards aging of the selected senior citizens in Dasmarinas City;2) determined the level of interpersonal relationship of the selected senior citizens in Dasmarinas City, Cavite in terms of family, peer; and community; 3) illustrate level of life satisfaction of the senior citizens in Dasmarinas City, Cavite; 4) find the significant relationship among their attitude towards aging and interpersonal relationship, attitude towards aging and life satisfaction, and interpersonal relationship and life satisfaction; and 5) determine the perception of the senior citizens about aging. Mixed method designed was used in the study wherein the researchers employee survey questionnaire for the quantitative part while personal interview guide questions for qualitative part. The questionnaire obtained the information that was needed in the study. There were 177 respondents in this study. A simultaneous survey was done to assess the participant’s attitude towards aging, interpersonal relationship and life satisfaction of the senior citizens. Moreover, the qualitative part was composed of 10 questions about the perception of senior citizens about aging. The data gathered were tabulated and statistically analyzed. Based on the results, the researchers found out that the majority of the senior citizens have a low positive level attitude towards aging. In general, the participants have high level of interpersonal relationship. Moreover, it was also found that there was no significant relationship between attitude towards aging and interpersonal relationship, and also no significant relationship between attitude towards aging and life satisfaction. However, there was a significant relationship between interpersonal relationship and life satisfaction. Hence, the researchers also determined three themes on how senior citizens view aging: a) aging as acceptance; b) aging as denial/ resistance, and c) aging as self- reproach to acceptance of reality.
