This Farm Practice Training which was entitled "Increasing Peanut Production Using the Right Amount of Complete Fertilizer" was conducted from September 1986 to January 1987, in Cabuco, Trece Martires City. It aimed to enable the students to integrate theoretical
knowledge in actual field situation. An area of 2,500 square meter land was thoroughly prepared three weeks before planting. The soil was cul-tivated and pulverized two times. The first plowing was done on August 2, 1986 while the first and last harrowing were done on August 26 and August 31, 1986 respectively. The land was fertilized by complete fertilizer (14-14-14) after the final harrowing. Planting was done by drilling two or three seeds of peanut in the furrows. Seeds germinated five days after planting. Cultivation by hilling-up was done fifteen days after planting. Harvest-ing was done on December 19, 1986 and marketing was done a week after harvesting. The yield obtained from the 2,500 square meter land was 30 cans. Fresh and unshelled peanuts were sold at ,60.00 per can.
