Development of E- Learning System of English Subject for Grade 7 Students of Governor Ferrer Memorial National High School — Biclatan Annex. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. April 2016. Adviser: Mr. Marlon R. Pereña. The study was conducted from January 2015 to March 2016 at Governor Ferrer Memorial National High School — Biclatan Annex to develop an E-learning system of English subject for grade 7 that can help the students to learn on their own pace and for teachers to carry teaching to learners in different places. The system provided three (3) major features; first is information by viewing of lesson, announcement, taking of quiz/exam, and viewing of score. second communication by forum and messaging and lastly is updating of users profile. The proponents used iterative development model in this study. The model consisted of four (4) processes namely; requirement phase, design phase, implementation and the review phase. The system was composed of five (5) modules; it include account management module, course management module, communication module, glossary and report generator module. It was evaluated using the questionnaire anchored on the ISO 9126. The participants were composed of grade 7 teachers and students of GFMNHS-Biclatan Annex and IT expert from Cavite State University. Based on the evaluation, the system was rated as excellent in terms of its reliability, usability, efficiency, maintainability, functionality and portability. In order to further improve the system, the proponents recommended to add features like to evaluate the reading capability of the students by a series of recorder voice to add passing of assignment to the online system and mobile application of the system.
