Abstract: ELLO, MARK JOHN KENNETH M. and MARZAN, JOHN LORENZ V. Student Information System for Metanoiah Academy Paliparan Ill Dasmariöas, Cavite. Undergraduate Thesis. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite. April 2016. Adviser: Ms. Gladys G. Perey. The study, Student Information System for Metanoiah Academy Paliparan Ill Dasmariñas, Cavite was conducted to provide secured and organized records of the students and faculty, and grades to have a fast and accurate generating of reports. The main feature of the Student Information System is to provide efficient information in each transaction, a system is user-friendly, it enables fast processing of data, and it generate accurate reports. The system provides six modules, account management module, grading module, student records module, teacher records module, student handbook module and reports module. The research methodology used in the software development was Iterative model; a lightweight discipline of software development based on values of simplicity communication, feedback, and courage. It has four (4) phases namely: initial planning requirements phase, design phase, implementation, and test phase. The developed system was developed under PHP with the use of prototyping method. The system was evaluated by the respondents on the given criteria: functionality, reliability, usability, efficiency, maintainability, and portability. Evaluators were composed of the teachers, students, and I. T experts of the school. The system passed all the criteria in the evaluators and met all the requirements and the objectives.
