Abstract: DE LEON, CAROLYN M., GACOS, MARVIN S., MALVAR, JANESA CAMILLE B. HOMEMADE HAM PRODUCTION: AN ENTREPRENEURIAL DEVELOPMENT PROJECT. Bachelor in Agricultural Entrepreneurship Major in Animal Production.Cavite State University, Cavite Philippines. April 2016. Adviser: Mariedel L. Autriz. The entrepreneurial development project was conducted at Regina Ville 2000, Inocencio, Trece Martires City, Cavite from December 17, 2015 to January 12, 2016. The study aimed to: (l) apply the skills and knowledge of the student in the field of meat processing; and (2) determine the profitability of producing two hundred (200) packs of homemade ham. A total of 200 packs of homemade ham was produced and marketed at the price of P 300.00 for whole ham weighing about 700 grams and P 150.00 for sliced ham weighing about 350 grams. The product was marketed at Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite; City Hall, Trece Martires, Cavite; Department of Agriculture Regional Office, Trece Martires, Cavite; Belvedere, Pasong Kawayan 2, General Trias, Cavite; Belmont Hills, Pasong Kawayaan 2, General Trias, Cavite; Pasong Camachile l, General Trias, Cavite; Cecilio S. Saliba Elementary School, Pasong Camachile 2, General Trias, Cavite; Buna Cerca, Indang, Cavite; Regina Ville 2000, Inocencio, Trece Martires, Cavite; Public market, Trece Martires, Cavite. A total of P 47,328.67 was used as capital for all the activities during the conduct Of entrepreneurial project and gained a net income of P 12,671.33 and a return of investment of 26.77%.
